It’s been a long time comin’… It’s goin’ to be a long time gone. And it appears to be a long… appears to be a long… appears to be a long time… yes a long, long, long, long time before the dawn. Crosby Stills & Nash…1969.
Here we go….again
Your mind is a garden, your thoughts are the seeds. You can grow flowers or you can grow weeds.
Now he tells me. Ha. Not everyone can own their own weed lot…or can they? Here I sit in the United Club at Denver International, awaiting the 2nd leg of a four leg flight to Vietnam. Listening to others phone conversations which I don’t want to hear, yet somehow find their way to my consciousness. People ask me why I enjoy foreign countries….because I can’t understand anything said or read so remain alone in my own head space. It’s private you know.
Plus always have fresh flowers 💐 in your home, and get a massage often. Why? Because it’s “you time”…just for yourself and reconnection with your mind and body. The flowers remind you of God’s wonder and nature smiling back at you.
Its been 3 years since we left Asia. Found a great dental clinic in Vietnam…just knew I’d return within a year to maintain that smile…however when the World went shut, so did dental maintenance. Have you ever swallowed your crown while eating parmesan fries? Not recommended. When your tongue takes inventory and finds something missing off the shelf. This is after carefully flossing and discovering a piece of tooth shaped popcorn on the living room rug…and $3 dental glue didn’t hold. Now wait…is that fair? Perhaps it was the installer not the glue.
Our 2nd leg is to San Fran and then 14 hours to Taipei, Taiwan. Last time in Taipei was 1969 in search of a warship to embark. Didn’t find the ship but discovered young female companionship – just the thing for an 18 year old off to war.
It has been a couple of years since I’ve taken time to share thoughts, and remember…this blah, blah, blog is free and you get what you pay 💰 for.
In my perception, the World and thinking has changed, or I live under a rock. Too much newsfeed tends to make one want to hide under a rock. People thrive on fear. OMG…we’re all going to die. Yes. We just don’t know when. We never know when the conductor is coming through the train 🚂 punches our ticket and we’re off at the next stop. Hey, been nice knowing you. As I attend funerals of friends and acquaintances, and their snippet biography is read…its like…how come we don’t really get to know others. We’re all in transit. No time to say hello, goodbye, I’m late, I’m late, I’m late.
Well thats depressing. When I gasp 😮 my last breath, I want it to accompany “thank you”…my time on this Earth 🌎 was wonderful. Which brings me to gratitude.
And now a word from our sponsor. Be sure to visit the United Club’s at Denver International – Concourse “B” (very busy)…Concourse “A” much quieter and less congested. If you have a layover, enjoy grazing at the Club, not expensive and comfortable. Which brings me to whats next…
A Smile
A smile costs nothing but gives much—
It takes but a moment, but the memory of it usually lasts forever.
None are so rich that can get along without it—
And none are so poor but that can be made rich by it.
It enriches those who receive
Without making poor those who give—
It creates sunshine in the home,
Fosters good will in business
And is the best antidote for trouble—
And yet it cannot be begged, borrowed or stolen, for it is of no value
Unless it is freely given away.
Some people are too busy to give you a smile—
Give them one of yours—
For the good Lord knows that no one needs a smile so badly
As he or she who has no more smiles left to give.
So take time to give every living creature your best smile, whether you still have teeth or not. Till next time. Now get out there and get yourself some fresh delights. Blessings 🙏🏼Yogi

Nice job brother. Your mind is amazing. You have the ability to express yourself, a blessing that is. Hope you are doing well and I’m sure you will have good feed back. Frank painted my car today, was a lot of work for him, but it looks good. I’ll pass on that smile ! LUM Sis
