Hola Amigos
Another passing day at the beach

AS luck would have it – he she they said ‘write a blog’.  What’s a blog/and look – the shift key can’t even make a question mark.  This is good he said.  Good luck he said.  Whatever.  Seems folks enjoy some jibberish with their jitterish in the mornings.  So be it.

Short and Sweet

Is it called Yogism – like orgasm – no, thats with an ‘asm’ – I need an ‘ism’.  Maybe its called Yogi-ism – now is that singular or plural.  Yogi-ism’s.  That looks confusing.  I’ve got it….Yogi’s-ism’s.  Now thats really screwed up.  More will be revealed.

Whats the difference between a ‘blog’ and a ‘blurb’/…there’s that slash instead of a question mark again.

You’re wandering Chuck – get back in your lane.  I’m not even driving.  Exactly.  Thank God there’s no wifi otherwise friends would have me committed (early).

And the band played on.  Outside that is.  Here in Mexico one never knows what the ears will hear next.  Going on 3 weeks now and at the moment, which is 9 in the morning on a Saturday, a live marching band is playing.  Where did they come from/.  Where are they going/.  Where is this going/.  Have you ever traveled down a one lane road as fast as possible to get where you’re going only to run out of road.  Turn around – dead end (no outlet would be preferable), the word dead doesn’t excite me as I approach 70.  And thats not I-70.

This could be fun.  Oh don’t make it work Chuck.  Write in the mornings with your first cup – maybe it should be called First Cup – while my mind is in a fog or a snowbank – like sliding off the road at slow speed into a snowbank.  That’s it.  Memoirs of a Madman.

Now my espousa has informed me i’m not blogging – i’m writing a note to myself.  You need a blog site she says.  What’s a blog site he says – and is that like a historic site/.

The meat of the matter (madder) is I’m trying to access the super information highway and I’m wandering around some back country road with a learners permit.

Next blog – finding my way to the super highway.

  3. Well my friend you have a like from me! I like the first cup per-se
Keep it up Yogi, you have just thrown some inspiration dust my way, for that i’m grateful.
For me the early morning is often the best time, just blurb it straight out, the other self does not have time to argue with and criticise you.

    1. Thanks David – I like the inspiration dust. We can all use some of that. Agree on the early morning blurb before all the other voices pipe up. Yogi

  4. Yo Yogi. Good to hear from you, we thought you’s guys had fallen off the edge of the earth but I doubt you are a flat Earther so not likely. Back in ol’ Mexico eh? Donde? We are hibernating in Vancouver this winter trying to sell our house. WAAAAY too much effin rain. One good thing, I have gotten my web site together….Finally! Have a look, some Mexican stuff and some of my earlier work when I was into showing. Have you survived the fires at home? Anyhow, good to hear from you, Hi to Bear. K&E

    1. The church bells just rang out on this Sunday morning….more like a clang clang clang. Enjoy your day there Brother. Love you more.

  5. Love it…keep up the first thing in the morning rambling! It was nearly 90 in Orange County this morning and I was wishing myself in Lake City for a truly winter break. No winter here! I miss Seattle days; rain, clouds, grey skies, occasional snow. Plus the Puget Sound at the end of every street, Mt Rainier reigning over every vista, the Seahawks, the iconic Space Needle making the Seattle skyline unmistakable. I do miss the Northwest! Summer in Lake City helps a lot! Yogi and Bear make our summer sojourn special. Now every morning will be special as we share a cup of coffee and a keyboard in our individual sunny spaces! Keep up the good work!

    1. Thanks Joy – I think you’re sounding homesick for some clouds and rainy days and coffee staring out the window at the sea. I’m with you – I need the sea and the birds calling and the pelicans diving. You have kind words for the Bear and Yogi and so grateful we add a facet to your Lake City glow. We hope to hop in our Hippy van and go see what you long for in your rearview. We think there may be a couple of puppies in the NW calling our names…

  6. When I was in the British navy and we were travelling in the Southern Ocean, the solitary wandering albatross was a common sight. The deck crew used to refer to them as oozalem oozalem birds! The uninitiated would ask why do you call them that, upon which the unacountable reply would come: “Because they fly round and round in ever diminishing circles until they disappear up their own rectum”? Leaving you the enquirer in a state of great perplexity. Have you ever attempted the feat described above like your writing suggests!!!!!!!!!!

    1. Oozalem reminds me of my first ship assignment – on the deck – and the tenured guys wanted to show us the famous “dabroom” birds…they’d point out at the open sea, you’d squint, and they’d hit you with the broom. Oh the joys of being a newbie on a ship.

  7. Brother Yogi! You never cease to amaze me! Enjoyed your ramblings! I found this while looking through my spam. Hardly ever do that so glad I did!
